Global solar grid parity: 80% by 2017

The previous post highlighted an article projecting that solar energy will have achieved grid parity in 28 US states by 2017.

Globally, things look even better, with a recent study from investment bank Deutsche Bank predicting that 80% of global electricity markets will have met or surpassed grid parity by 2017:
